My mother always said I would talk to a turnip, and if I thought the turnip would talk back, I probably would. I never had a problem talking to or in front of people, I just never knew when to STOP!
I joined Toastmasters International with a new club in 2012 the EOC Toastmasters at my workplace. I fell in love with speaking in a defined format, having people laugh at my jokes, and learning new leadership skills. Now I am a member of Mid-Del Toastmasters and OKC Pros, and I still have to work on my timing (or when to stop talking).
I am honored to be your Program Quality Director and am looking forward to my time working with all of the wonderful Toastmasters in our District. My personal goal is to earn my DTM this year under the legacy program and to help District 16 become a Distinguished District.
Hobbies: reading, reading, reading, learning new things, spending time with my grandgirls, sewing, knitting, and eating.
