Friends of Greenwood Toastmasters Club

We are a non-profit club that promotes the Pathways Toastmasters Communication Education programs through our local club meetings.
Our club meetings are designed to empower people to become effective communicators, public speakers, and leaders they aspire to be.
Visitors are welcome!
The Friends of Greenwood Toastmasters (FOGS) welcomes everyone who shares our quest for continuous improvement of individual public speaking, communication, and leadership skills.
We offer a supportive, low-stress, and safe learning environment that empowers members to grow at their own pace.
Each one-hour meeting is divided into three parts:
1. Prepared Speeches: Projects that members have prepared and practiced in advance before the meeting;
2. Impromptu Speaking Session: Extemporaneous speaking on virtually any topic off the cuff, this is called TABLE TOPICS;
3. Evaluation Session: Each area of the meeting, including prepared speeches, are provided verbal feedback. “Feedback is the breakfast of champions”.
Note: We provide a written agenda for each meeting
The club presently meets online through the Zoom platform.
Join us every Thursday at 6:30 pm-7:30 pm
